Robert Cortes is a Lead Advisor at AllGen Financial Advisors, Inc. He believes financial freedom is more than retirement; it's an attitude. His commitment to unbiased, client-focused advice started in 2007, when his father's experience revealed the conflicts of interest that can exist in the finance industry.
Robert started his career as a bank manager, building and leading a branch team with a focus on integrity and transparency. He has passed the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Examination.
Robert grew up in a military family, living in Washington, D.C., Spain and Mississippi before settling in Florida at Patrick Air Force Base. Moving so often taught him to connect with people from all walks of life. Along the way, he became a conference and regional wrestling champion and a United States Karate Kai Do Grand National Champion.
These days you'll find Robert running, rock climbing or backpacking, or talking about food almost as much as he enjoys eating it. Many of his sentences start with "I was listening to a podcast the other day…," and he loves passing along what he learns.
