Joshua Patterson brings a strong interest in financial markets, investment management, and stewardship to his work with AllGen Financial Advisors. Raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Josh and his wife felt called to Central Florida, where he now serves as part of a team dedicated to helping individuals and families pursue Financial Freedom with clarity and confidence.

Josh’s fascination with investing began at an early age. At just 13 years old, he asked his father to buy Apple stock for him, sparking a lifelong interest in how markets work and how thoughtful investing can help people build toward their future.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Drake University and has continued to grow his knowledge of investment research and portfolio strategy. Before joining AllGen, Josh interned with an insurance company and worked at a financial services firm in Des Moines, gaining valuable exposure to the financial planning and investment management industry.

At AllGen, Josh’s passion for helping people steward their money well aligns with the firm’s investment philosophy and broader mission. He believes investing is not just about markets and numbers, but about helping people make wise decisions that support the life they want to live.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, lifting weights, and going on long walks.
