Karen Vergara is a financial advisor at AllGen Financial Advisors, Inc., an independent fee-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm based in Orlando, Florida. A Colombia native who was raised in Orlando, FL, Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Cum Laude, from the University of Central Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has a background in financial statements/reporting, taxes, and small business retirement plans, and has worked for Deloitte, the largest professional services firm in the world. Karen is a member of 100 Women Strong, a Trustee for the FICPA Educational Foundation, and a Junior Achievement Classroom Volunteer. She was the youngest chair in the history of the FICPA Central FL Chapter and is a past board member of Amigos Unidos, a nonprofit that helps the needy around the world. Fluent in English and Spanish, Karen has traveled to more than 40 countries and has visited the Seven Wonders of the World.
